"The hiding is because the Scientists are still after me and the other infected. They want us more than a politician wants an intern," Lily guessed it would take her some time to get used to all of this. The infected normally rarely crossed her mind. She could tell that it would change now. She had decided to stay here, well at least while her shoulder was healing. "Lil, you hungry? You look like you don't eat often." "Oh, no I'm fine. I already eat." She said matter of factly. She was a pretty good lier, but didn't do it much.
"Alright we've been talking about me long enough. What else has happened since I left?" Lily thought about that. There were a few things she wouldn't tell him for sometime. Like that fact that he was an uncle. No that could wait. She had put the baby up for adoption anyway. "Um.. Not much. Life's been pretty boring."
"Oh, no I'm fine. I already eat." "Um.. Not much. Life's been pretty boring." Sebastion cracked a smile. "Lily I've known you for 26 years. I know when you're lying."
He ordered a burger and a large plate of fries when the waitress came back. "Seriously, Lil. I've been through hell. I can take whatever you throw at me." He smiled and he knew that she was aware he wasn't lying. They had the whole "twin telepathy" to an extent. Mainly just the ability to know what the other was feeling more than thinking. " I've been out of the loop too long, Lil. Please..."

"Lily I've known you for 26 years. I know when you're lying." Lily didn't have the heart to point out that he had in fact only known her for 15 years. The last 11 had been pretty life changing. Lily wouldn't bring it up, though, because she didn't even want to think about it.
"Seriously, Lil. I've been through hell. I can take whatever you throw at me. I've benen out of the loop too long, Lil. Please..." Lily sighed. "Well. I moved out when I was 18. Got an apartment in Ann Arbor and when to college there. I majored in dance. Surprise. I was working in a dance studio teaching jazz, tap, pretty much everything. Then I lived in chicago for a little while, dancing professionally. And I was traveling around with a group of girls for competition." Lily nodded. "Thats it."
"Thats it." Sebastion stared into her eyes. "I want to know everything... Every little thing..." He sat back as his burger arrived. He took a bite. "Start talking. I'll listen." He jammed fries in his mouth.
He wanted to know it all he hungered for the knowledge he had been denied the past 11 years.
"I want to know everything... Every little thing... Start talking. I'll listen." Lily sighed. "Well Um. You left. Nothing happened until Jared was born. Then I pretty much just danced. Um, enter already received data. Um. Had a kid. Uh... yeah thats all." She hoped he wouldn't pick up on the last part. She leaned back. Naturally Lily had near perfect posture.
"m. Had a kid. Uh... yeah thats all." Sebastion was drinking his coke when she said that and like it was a sitcom he spit the coke out, away from Lily of course. "A KID?! You? Kid? Me uncle? Jesus Christ I've missed more than I thought!" He started laughing. "Why'd it take you so long to tell me?" He asked with a broad smile.
"How old? What gender? Did you get married?" He bombarded her with questions. He was so happy but there was a touch of unease and he didn't know why.
"A KID?! You? Kid? Me uncle? Jesus Christ I've missed more than I thought! Why'd it take you so long to tell me? How old? What gender? Did you get married?" "Whoa." Lily took a deep breath. "Would be." She did the math in her head. "Five, maybe six. Boy. Hell no." She took a deep breath. "Bastion, I sad I HAD a kid. As in oh shit the condom broke. I don't have the kid." She bite her lip. "I gave it up."
"I gave it up." Sebastion frowned. "I'm sorry.. If I woulda known..." He reached over the table and hugged her. "Nothing else happened?" He asked with true interest in his eyes.
"I'm sorry.. If I woulda known... Nothing else happened?" Lily shrugged. "Uh... No. not that I can think of. I know life is so boring without you." She smiled. "She whats in this town that you stay here for? It doesn't seem very... interesting."
Sebastion laughed. "I don't actually stay in town. I have a sort of... Apartment..." He said this as if struggling for a word. He finished the last of his fries and took another sip of Coke still looking at Lily.
"I can't believe how long its been... Do you maybe want to go shopping?" he pulled out a credit card. "I got it off one of the guys I downed. He wont be needing it what with the insanity and all." He chuckled, sounding borderline sadistic. "I know a mall a short distance from here that I would be able to blend in. And that way we would be able to catch up more." He smiled an innocent smile like his sadistic laugh never happened.
