New Jersey, the place that is the butt of many jokes around America, and is often teasingly nicknamed as "The Armpit of the United States." Most people simply brush it aside, saying it's nothing but a land filled with bad odor, bad drivers, and high taxes. But, it can't be all bad, right? Sure, all these things about New Jersey are kind of true, but, the small state does have one thing to be proud of, that draws tourists like bees to honey: it's shoreline. The beautiful coast of the state gets thousands and thousands of visitors each year during the summertime. It seems pretty crazy for a place that seems to have such a wishy-washy reputation, doesn't it? Well, it's all true. Despite what people say, the shores along the New Jersey coast are beautiful, and hold some of the most fun amusement parks and boardwalks in the United States. Come take a tour up Cape May's historic lighthouse, or go gambling in Atlantic City. Or perhaps you just want to take a romantic stroll down the beach in Ocean City, or bring the entire family to hit Wildwood's monumental amusement and water parks. The Summer Music Festival at Atlantic City's own Boardwalk Hall is starting up, as well, so be sure to get your tickets early, before they sell out! Still Skeptical? Why not check it out for yourself? It all happens here, both above and under the boardwalk.
